Frank Fredette, Honorary Commodore and Judge of the first Classic Boat Festival in Victoria BC, and a well known west coast yacht designer was commissioned to design "Night Wind" for a Victoria couple in the early 1960's. She was built locally in Victoria by Derek Verhey.
Frank Fredette was know for building heavy duty boats and as such "Night Wind" is heavily if not "over" built for her intended use as a yacht. Fredette's typical interior design is simple but comfortable and as a result the boat is very roomy, bright and comfortable. "Night Wind" is in exceptional condition. Her list of recent improvements is impressive. She is well worth a look if you are considering a classic Northwest cruising Sailboat. She is on her way to our sales dock in Victoria and will be available for showing after November 1st.
